Payne Fly Rod 9'6" 3/2 #8A Payne salmon rod, 9'6", 3 piece, 2 tips, built for what feels to me like a #8 line. 7. 1 ounces. Refinished. Medium slow action. The varnish on this rod is nice but the wraps on the rod are not quite of the same standard. The silk color is too light a brown and the edges of the wraps often have some roughness. The tungsten snake guides have been replaced with black stainless and the stripper is agateen (glass). One tip has a partial facet crack

and blank warranty card come with the rod

the tips were made 3/4" shorter than the mid and butt
