Louis Guntrum Niersteiner Pattenthal Riesling Auslese Trocken 1989The 11th generation of the Guntrum family continue the work started in 1648, although Louis took over in 1909 and settled the estate in Niestein, on the banks of the Rhine. The 1989 was an excellent vintage across Germany. Typical blend, Riesling. 75cl bottle. Abv 12% Bottle condition, capsule good, Label good, wine level in neck.
The vines themselves are situated between 1275 and 1500 meters adding cool sea breezes to the sunshine
2017 vintage produced a very good wine with great ageing potential
