1990s Egg Lounge Chair and Ottoman by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in New Cognac LeatherThis is an original Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen Egg lounge chair, Model 3316, with accompanying ottoman. Jacobsen designed the chair in 1958, perfecting the shape by experimenting with wire and plaster in his garage. This special piece has been freshly reupholstered in cognac color full grain Italian leather. The upholstery work was done by one of the most respected shops in the US for these pieces. The chair swivels and rests on a 4 star aluminum

The black wire bases and seats are all in very good condition for their age and are structurally sound

Carl Hansen & Søn relaunched the chair in 2006 because of relentless demand

This is a single Fauteuil Direction dining / side chair designed by Jean Prouvé and produced by Vitra in 2018

These two lounge chairs came from the American Airlines executive lounge at Chicago O'Hare Airport

and is still the most common finish found on Bertoia chairs today
