It has a connected blue agate core

The entire plate is covered in multiple layers of Knightia eoceana with excellent detail and preservation

This is a small Priscacara/Cockerellites Liops is an uncommon fish from the split fish layer in the mid lake region of the Green River Formation of Fossil Lake in Wyoming the fossil fish in this area have a rich dark red/brown color and a more pronounced preservation than the near shore split fish layer
