'I built a place for you to land 'I remember this shot well. There was a dark Dramatic sky but not a shot to be had as no light could get through onto the mountains. I thought that's a shame but I was having an evening hanging in paradise so I was happy regardless. I focused on the opposite view as I noticed a glimpse of light breaking through. I then turned back around to see this. A photo that's special to me. Mount Kyeburn and the Ida Range.

As I flew over the stand of trees  the row of poplar trees and leaves on the ground completely luminated even though it was getting dark

Hoping for a contrast between the dead trees and the Autumn colors left on the poplar trees

You found the light in me that I couldn't find

I cannot confirm or deny

The hills behind the Eweburn Dam

So barely a tree remains on the perimeter of this historic site

The other thing that makes this image special (and sad actually) is that the background trees have since been logged
