Victorian Hexagonal Sugarloaf RingGorgeous Victorian single stone ring set with an unusually cut pale purple amethyst. The stone is a cabochon cut, but the hexagonal shape means it has six semi facets like a sugarloaf cab. The pavilion tapers down to a point, with large facets that catch the light to create strong flashes of colour. It's set in a simple crimped bezel mount with applied trefoils likely clovers to the grooved shoulders. It dates from the late Victorian period, circa
