Whitehead, Daryll - CreelHere we have a very rare creel indeed, a steelhead creel woven by Daryll Whitehead and leathered by Freeman Mariner. These two made very few creels and all were given away to friends in the early 90's. Other examples can be seen in the book "The Art of the Creel" which was dedicated to Whitehead. The creel has been displayed and never used of course and remains in excellent condition. The silver cartouche on the front was engraved by Paolo Barbetti.
