Mills Standard 1890 Bamboo Rod 9' 3/2 #5For sale here is a beautifully restored Mills Standard bamboo rod vintage 1890 give or take. This line of rods was made by Leonard for retailer William Mills and Son. This is a 9 foot rod 3 sections. I would call it a medium action 5 weight. Gorgeous rattan handle and handsome swelled butt. Flip ring guides. Not sure who performed the restoration but it was done very nicely. The Leonard stamping is not original obviously and was added at a later time,

The rod is in excellent+ condition

The drag works beautifully and is mechanically sound
