Thermal Camera with SpeakerThe Thermal Camera with Speaker is our standard thermal camera that is used for predator monitoring, with a speaker that plugs into the front of the camera. This can be used to experiment with audio lures to attract predators into a trap, or to play sounds (like barking) to scare predators away, for example from the end of a predator proof fence. If the camera is going to be somewhere with no service  you can manually upload the files from the camera using the Sidekick app

We have included a microphone on the camera

Customers outside of New Zealand will need to buy the empty battery pack and fill it with their own 18650 cells

There are regular software updates for the DOC AI Cam

If you are recording thermal videos then the audio monitoring will make only a small difference to your battery life (3-10%)

The new camera uses many of the same parts as your old camera

You also have the option to avoid mobile data charges and upload the videos via Wi-Fi
