An overcoat of varnish has been applied at some point in the rod's history
For sale here is a Payne Model 100 bamboo rod
the varnish has seen better days
the butt cap features the Hardy stamp
The rod appears to be unused
Rod is in excellent condition with obvious soiling of the grip
Lightly used with some discoloration of the grip and edgewear to the cap and ring seat hardware
