Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 3 1/8" - 1906 CheckFor sale here is a classic 3 1 8" Hardy Perfect fly reel with the 1905 1906 check. Majority of leading remains but as you can see, a prior owner at one time had a "moment", thinking he might scratch the finish off the winding plate. Caliper spring is nice and strong and the bridged tensioner works fine. Gear teeth remain sharp. Ivorine handle spins freely and is in great shape. Appears to be the original smooth brass foot, but it may have been
with the tip made 1/2" short

There are no signs of this reel having been used
Made to hold a 4wt line
