The Cardells were close friends with the Youngs and this rod was made as a family Christmas gift in 1954 for Kent Cardell, son of Paul Cardell. Comes with the original Payne tube with most of the label intact
a very nice restoration job
Mint condition with the exception of the cigar cork grip having a very small snake guide indentation
though it is hard and not gummy at all
