The one and only issue are scratches on the butt section near the ferrule. The cork grip is in great shape as is the butt piece. Black aluminum up locking reel seat with hidden hook keeper. The ferrules fit together tightly and are also sound, no cracks. The Z AXIS rods were designed to be very light in the hand, fast and accurate up close as well
The reel comes with an original EVH leather case in AMAZING condition
A great balance of power and finesse
The rod is completely original and in unused condition

Kushner rods are very scarce as he made less than 200 rods (some say ~100) in his Michigan shop from the early 1950's until his death in 1973
No line grooves whatsoever - pretty rare
