Adopt Banana

Adopt BananaBanana was rescued on 24th August 2018 from Trevellas Cove, Cornwall. She was around eight months old at the time and was malnourished with bite wounds to her flippers and parasitic pneumonia. She was released after getting better, however she was re rescued at a later date due to difficulties and it became apparent she wouldnt survive in the wild, so has become a resident here at the Sanctuary.

She is a petite puffin with a heart of gold

meaning she was unable to be released as puffins must display a healthy fear of humans and predators to ensure survival

Buddy was born at the sanctuary on 13th July 2014

He was underweight and was blind in both eyes

Due to his condition

and she frequently showcases her talent for flips and rolls

so she can often be seen flapping her wings when walking for balance
